This canvas was painted on the spot, standing on the vast sloping rocks that pour into the sea, called Schoodic Point. It was a very misty day and the big ocean swells from some far-off storm were rolling in. Standing there was hypnitizing and thought-provoking. Though the thoughts one would have were all about waves and movement and what it was telling us.
