Moment Of Light And Color was inspired by the gorgeous light effects I see on my walks around my neighborhood. This scene is a block from my house. I was attracted to the way the sun stretched across the manicured lawn, which was bisected by a curving sidewalk. The giant ficus tree stretches its branches over the lawn and the spiky branches of an Agave reach into the frame. But it is the intense light coming from the left, that is the main subject of this image.
