This still life was painted in one sitting, or, in my case, standing. I do prefer to stand while painting. It seems to help with concentration.

The simple vase of flowers on a piece of tatting laid on a table. The table has a round granite inset, which became a mitif in the composition.

I like this piece for its simplicity and dynamic brushwork.
