Continuing my series of plein air travel paintings, this was done on the Riverwalk of the Chicago River. Such a beautiful place! I was aiming to capture some of the excitment of the bridges going off into the distance with the buildings looming overhead. There was a lot of river traffic, which passed by too fast to paint, but I also took pictures and hope to do a large version of this scene.
