This painting was part of a series I did way back in the early 1990s called China Cups series. I recently have been going through a stack of old paintings and really like this. It's interesting how and idea or a work can be unappreciated at the time it was done, to be seen so much later as a good idea. I am now at a place where this work makes sense to me and will pick up on the style again.
