After a Hurricane last fall, my home was without power for 9 days. I stayed at the apartment of my friend in downtown Sarasota. I was treated to high views of the bay and the very changeable weather that followed the storm. It would go from sunny and still to a furious tempest in a matter of an hour. This painting is my impression of one of these tempests.
