Painted as a class demonstration for my class titled, Painting With Expression, at the Art Center Manatee in Bradenton, FL

I handed out the same photo of a model from one of my illustration jobs and we all worked on identically sized canvases.  I was impressed with the way everyone worked so passionately on their portrait. In between helping them, I painted my own version, explaining as I worked. There was plenty of frustration and then satisfaction when something started looking right. Some were amazed at how a minor dab of paint could completely change the way her expression was percieved. It was a fascinating lesson that will be repeated!
