After Hurricane Irma, I stayed at the empty apartment that overlooked the bay with a vantage point of 12 floors up. The view was ever-changing, with short blasts of intense rain, interspersed with bright sun. I did a group of paintings inspired by that view, each showing a different kind of weather. This morning view features shadows from the buildings and palms.
