Along the small and windy roads in Tuscany the challenge is to find a place where you can park the car and set up the easel, that also has a view you want to paint. I had noticed this place on an earlier drive. It had all the requisite elements.
The towns that rise up from the rolling landscape are invariably ancient. I don’t know the name of this one, but it’s near Montepulciano. On a rare sunny day this May, my spirits were high, breathing in the gorgeous beauty of Tuscany.
