I’ve been creating a body of abstract paintings that haven’t been shown. I wanted just to play with color and textures, with no subject. As they developed, things began to emerge from the paint, hallucinations or flights of imagination. Though no meaning was intended, they took on meaning, surprising in the way that dreams are surprising. What do you see? On view at Griffin Art Gallery, Jonesborough, Tennessee.
