This odd collection of buildings is what happens when structures are built as needed over a long time. I find the angles and shapes quite beautiful. I can read in them the generations of people working this farm, growing crops, tending cows, harvesting tobacco. It seems a quiet place now, with only a single man tending to it. As the evening settles over it, I paint what it used to be and what it is now. I have brought three new paintings of farms in the area, to the Griffin Art Gallery.
