Part of an ongoing series on clouds. I'm especially thrilled with the massive cumulus clouds that occur over Florida during the summer and fall. I call them the "mountains of Florida".

I called this painting "Colossus", referring to the gigantic size of the cloud, made even more dramatic by the low, flat land of Longboat key in the distance.
